Beginning with a new look at how the duo first met, Ratchet & Clank‘s PSX demo trailer received a lot of cheers from those in attendance, and for good reason. Not only does it look great in full high-definition, with colours that pop off the screen and animations that befit a modern game, but the remake also features improved gameplay mechanics, added weapons and new environments, which should all combine to make for a noticeably better experience.

Hell, even the groovitron has been added into the mix, so that players can distract enemies with strobe lights and dance music.

Expect to be able to play Ratchet & Clank on your PlayStation 4 on April 12, 2016.
