In the ongoing process to make the Xbox One fully backwards compatible with the vast library of games released for the Xbox 360, Microsoft have been keeping tabs on which games fans want to see playable on the current gen system most. Up until just recently, Rockstar’s open-world Western, Red Dead Redemption has been holding the top spot, but now its been dethroned, and you’ll never guess what triple-A title has taken its place…

Check out the list – as it currently stands – below.

  • 1. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
  • 2. Red Dead Redemption
  • 3. Skyrim
  • 4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  • 5. Halo: Reach
  • 6. Call of Duty: Black Ops
  • 7. Gears of War 3
  • 8. Fallout 3
  • 9. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  • 10. Call of Duty: modern Warfare 3

With votes numbering in the four digit region, it’s hardly a punt to say that most Xbox fans are itching to play their favorite iteration of past Call Of Duty games on the Xbox One. In fact, with the exception of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, every single game on the list is a first-person shooter, or at least has elements of the genre as a main part of gameplay.

But what about you? Are you looking for a more diverse list of Xbox 360 games to take priority in the backwards compatibility process? Let us know which last-generation games you’re waiting to play on your Xbox One in the comments below.
