Like her last outing, Lara Croft’s next adventure — that being Rise of the Tomb Raider — will apparently grace Windows PC, as well as today’s most popular current and last-generation consoles. That is, if information discovered on Amazon’s UK website is correct.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was revealed to an elated crowd during Microsoft’s E3 press conference; however, it wasn’t the first time that the sequel to 2013’s masterful reboot had been talked about. Even before the incredibly busy expo took place, there was talk of the game’s existence, and its development for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now, it seems like those reports underestimated the scope of the process, because it’s now believed that the much-anticipated sequel will also swing its axe onto the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms, in addition to Windows PC.

This is great news for those who plan to wait a while before purchasing a next-gen console or high-powered PC. However, it’s also slightly worrying, given the whole Watch Dogs graphics fiasco.

Stay tuned for more information pertaining to Rise of the Tomb Raider as it develops. For now, though, take to our comments section and let us know what you think of this rumour.
