Rockstar Has No Plans For Single-Player Grand Theft Auto V DLC

Rockstar Games seems to have finally settled a long-asked question, that being when or if Grand Theft Auto V will receive any downloadable expansions for the single-player campaign. Though story DLC had been teased last year, the publisher now states that the development team is completely focused on new content for Grand Theft Auto Online, saying that the multiplayer mode, which has 8 million people logging in every week, has exceeded expectations.

“We currently have all key members of the team that launched Grand Theft Auto V focused on supporting GTA Online in every capacity,” says design director Imran Sarwar.

Various new gameplay experiences are in the works for the popular mode, including the recently announced Freemode Events hitting the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game next week, along with the previously PC-exclusive Rockstar Editor for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

We will continue to post more news regarding the Grand Theft Auto franchise as it develops, so stay tuned!
