Leaked promotional material revealing several unannounced Ubisoft games reportedly surfaced this past week, potentially revealing a high definition console port for the Vita’s 2012 Assassin’s Creed spinoff, Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD.
The image of the promotional material (which is embedded in the gallery below) is said to be from Ubisoft’s recent Fall Digital Day event. It first surfaced on the Chinese forum A9VG, where it was later picked up by the ever watchful eyes on NeoGAF.
It is impossible to say for certain if the Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD logo is legitimate, so consider this a rumor until Ubisoft makes an official announcement. With that said, the Brazilian classification board did issue a rating for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation on the Xbox 360 and PS3 last year. So, don’t be surprised if the publisher debuts the digital port in the near future.
If the leaked Ubisoft slide is correct, it reveals far more than the existence of Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD. The other new logos in the image are; Assassin’s Creed Pirates (possible AC IV: Black Flag mobile spinoff game), Autodance II, Endwar Online, Rabbids: Big Bang, Rayman: Fiesta Run (a potential sequel to last year’s Rayman: Jungle Run on iOS), and Valiant Hearts: The Great War.
We will keep an eye out for any official confirmation from Ubisoft on Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD and any of the other titles, and let you know as soon as anything is announced.
