Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure, the latest in the popular wordplay franchise, has finally been given a release date of September 24th. To celebrate the announcement, the team at 5th Cell has released an infographic covering all the versions of Superman that players can summon. With a whopping 14 choices, it is impressive to see the large amount of detail 5th Cell went to ensure that all the variations of the Man of Steel were included in their game.

As you can already tell from the title, the game centers on the DC Comic universe, letting you solve puzzles with heroes and villains alike by writing various words to summon an object or person. According to what has been released so far, this Scribblenauts entry will apparently sport over 2000 comic book characters from iconic heroes like Wonder Women to more obscure characters like Plastic Man. Players can also add adjectives to words, which is useful if you ever wanted to see Batman as a zombie.

While I was a bigger Marvel fan as a child, I look forward to seeing what 5th Cell will do with the DC license. I’ve always liked Scribblenauts for its simple art style and the ability to solve puzzles in thousands of different ways.

Only time will tell if this game lives up to its predecessors when Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure launches on September 24th for the 3DS, Wii U and PC.
