During a discussion with MVC, Stardew Valley developer Eric Barone stated that he’s currently attempting to get his hit game to consoles, though nothing is set in stone.

“I’m currently in discussion with several companies that are interested in helping me bring Stardew Valley to consoles,” said Barone.

It would certainly be nice if Stardew Valley migrated its crops to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and/or Wii U, because there’s surely a market for it. After all, not only has it received good reviews, but it’s also drawn comparisons to the great Harvest Moon games of yesteryear, of which I was a big fan. After all, it’s a game based around cultivating one’s own crops, running a successful farm and building relationships with the locals.

Stay tuned for more information as this potential port of Stardew Valley (hopefully) gains traction.
