Earlier today, at the annual Tokyo Game Show expo in Japan, Konami announced a new title in the long-running Suikoden series for the PSP. The full title of the Japanese release will be Genso Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. An official website has been launched with a trailer containing clips from animated cinematics.

The long-running RPG series began on the original PlayStation in 1995, and has appeared on several systems since, including the PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, and most recently the DS.

There is currently no release date or announcement of an English translation, but seeing that most of the series has been brought to North America, chances are good for a confirmation in the near future.
