One of the most overlooked Vita launch titles has received some interesting looking new media, including a set of screenshots and a launch trailer.

Developed by DrinkBox Studios, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is the second game in a downloadable series which got its start on the PlayStation 3. Its main elements are similar to a mixture of a side-scrolling/physics-based puzzle game and Katamari Damacy. You’re tasked with eating items found in each environment, in order to grow in size. Getting bigger means that the space being can reach its goal of global domination. However, traps, pitfalls and other manufactured hazards happen to have other ideas.

I had the pleasure of reviewing the first game and enjoyed it quite a bit. The experience was quirky, well-made and addicting. As a result, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack has become one of my most anticipated Vita games. Hopefully it’s also on your radar as something to check out, much like its predecessor (Tales From Space: About A Blob) should be.
