After being rumored for the past month, Telltale Games has officially confirmed that both seasons of The Walking Dead and the first season of The Wolf Among Us will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.

While no official release date has been announced yet, we do know that The Walking Dead: Game Of The Year Edition (which covers the entire first season plus the bonus “400 Days” chapter), The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Wolf Among Us will be available as physical copies on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Telltale Games did not specify whether or not the titles will also be available through each console’s respective digital marketplace, but it would be surprising if they were not.

In addition to the titles being announced for the PS4 and Xbox One, Telltale also revealed that physical editions of The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Wolf Among Us will also be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

As a big fan of Telltale’s titles, this news excites me greatly and has me hopeful that the company will continue this trend and announce plans to bring their upcoming Tales From The Borderlands and Game Of Thrones titles to current-gen consoles as well. I’ve been waiting to play both The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us for a while and now that they’re heading to the Xbox One and PS4, it looks like I’ll finally get my chance.

Tell us, will you be picking up The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us when they arrive on the Xbox One/PS4?
