Telltale Games has become a force in the world of gaming thanks to their unique takes on properties such as The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. At The Game Awards ceremony tonight, the studio announced that the next mega-franchise to join their stable in 2016 will be none other than Batman.

Similar to previous reveals from the developer, little was actually unveiled about what the combination of Telltale Games and Batman could possibly bring. The brief teaser trailer was heavy on the noir, but I suppose that is to be expected when it comes to corrupt city of Gotham.

We can speculate wildly about what Telltale Games will bring to the world of Batman, and I’m sure we will in the coming months, but for now, we’ll just have to be happy that the two are coming together for this highly-anticipated project.
