Respawn Entertainment showed off two new Titanfall gameplay trailers at the VGX awards this weekend, revealing the slightly underwhelming news that there are multiple classes of mechs that players will be able to use on the virtual battlefield.

Both of the new trailers are told from the perspective of commercials for Hammond Robotics, the corporation that is apparently responsible for developing, testing, and manufacturing the titans. The two newly announced classes of mechs that players will be able to unlock in the game are the Ogre and Stryder titans. As described in the trailers (embedded below) the Ogre class is a heavy mech that has increased armor and firepower, but is slower than the standard titan. On the other end of the spectrum, the Stryder titan is extremely agile and fast but lacks the ability to take much punishment.

Aside from revealing the two new titans, Respawn Entertainment also announced that work on Titanfall is basically finished at this point and the team is now focusing on balancing. Perhaps the best news of all is that the game will not be saddled with Kinect support of any kind.

Titanfall launches on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on March 11, 2014 in North America, and March 13th across Europe. Stick with WGTC for more coverage on the shooter as we get closer to its release date.
