Creative Assembly's Total War: Warhammer does just that by enabling you to click and drag the camera a full 360 degrees to view whichever part of the battlefield you please.

Here’s your step-by-step guide to navigating the large-scale conflict on various devices.

1) Click and drag your view of the battlefield on desktop (Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or Internet Explorer).
2) Use the YouTube or Facebook app on your mobile as a virtual window, and pan your view around (note that this is currently the only way to experience the 360 functionality on your mobile).
3) Select VR view from the Youtube App and drop your phone into Google Cardboard.

Total War: Warhammer launches tomorrow, May 23 on PC, and is the culmination of a partnership between SEGA, Creative Assembly and Games Workshop to bring fans of both real-time strategy and the original tabletop Warhammer game the most authentic-feeling interpretation of its universe to date.
