With that August 20th release date quickly approaching, 2k Games is continuing their marketing push for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, which is looking pretty good lately. A new trailer was released today for the tactical third person shooter and it gives us a brief overview of how high the stakes are and what you’ll be tasked with doing.
We get a glimpse at some of the creepy looking aliens along with a good chunk of gameplay as we see our protagonist issuing commands, deploying gadgets and carrying out various actions. Throw in a few plot points and a voiceover that highlights some of the more tactical elements of the game, and you have a pretty solid trailer that gives players a good idea of what to expect.
So far, I’m on board with this one. It looks like a fun tactical shooter and though nothing about it seems groundbreaking, it should make for an enjoyable, action-packed romp during these somewhat slow Summer months.
