The collection of various video streaming services, including Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, and the ability to play from the user’s personal DVR, was originally scheduled to become available on launch day via a downloadable patch. Unfortunately, the patch for TVii itself has been delayed until some time in December, with no specific launch dates given for the individual video apps.

However, Netflix representatives have confirmed that the Wii U version of their streaming video service will be available on launch day, but will not be directly integrated into the TVii service until sometime early next year.

We will keep you updated on future news regarding TVii and the Wii U itself.
