As the release of Far Cry Primal draws tantalisingly close, Ubisoft have revealed that the contents of the game isn't the only thing getting a bit primal. In some new promotional material for the title, the developers have revealed that they have created an entire gaming setup made out of stone to celebrate the release.

As the release of Far Cry Primal draws tantalisingly close, Ubisoft have revealed that the contents of the game aren’t the only things getting a bit primal. In some new promotional material for the title, the developers have revealed that they have created an entire gaming setup made out of stone to celebrate the release.

The dev team have managed to craft a life-size PlayStation 4 console – along with a Dualshock 4 controller, of course – entirely out of sandy stone. Take a look at the finished article right below, and check out the work in progress through the video at the top of this page.

Far Cry Primal Stone PS4

While its functionality is likely to be decidedly limited, Ubisoft’s stone PS4 certainly captures the stone-age spirt of their latest instalment in the Far Cry franchise. In the video you’ll also see that they crafted a TV, coffee table and even a slice of pizza, which we can only speculate was most likely stone-baked (sorry).

Far Cry Primal is set for release on February 23rd.
