Ubisoft’s latest developer diary for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation reveals a little more about what we can expect from the PlayStation Vita title when it launches alongside Assassin’s Creed III later this month.

In the video the developers talk a bit about the game’s new female protagonist, Avilene, and how she is initially torn between the Assassins and the Templars. Ubisoft is also very keen on letting us know that Liberation will replicate the scale of past console titles in the franchise, despite being released on a handheld system.

Check out the developer diary embedded below, and look for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation on the PS Vita when it launches in North America on October 30, 2012.
