Star Trek: Bridge Crew, the all-new licensed VR game coming from Ubisoft, will whisk you on board Starfleet in the fall. It’ll be compatible with Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR.
Bearing no affiliation with Paramount’s cinematic franchise, Bridge Crew is part of Ubisoft’s growing library of virtual reality titles, which also includes the multiplayer-focused Eagle Flight.
In the snippet above, you’ll see Trekkies such as Levar Burton, Jeri Ryan, and Karl Urban demonstrate the teamwork required to succeed in Star Trek: Bridge Crew, while the official logline teases Ubisoft’s new VR venture as so:
Watch as Star Trek alums Levar Burton, Jeri Ryan, and Karl Urban reveal and play Star Trek: Bridge Crew for the first time and discover the immersive Star Trek experience in Virtual Reality (VR). Developed specifically for VR, Star Trek: Bridge Crew is the only game to offer a true-to-life level of immersion in the Star Trek universe, where- as officers of the Federation- every action and decision you make together will determine the fate of your ship and crew.
Star Trek: Bridge Crew will make a beeline for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR later in 2016.
