The ending of The Walking Dead: Season Two's second episode certainly indicated that things were going south for Clementine and company, via the introduction of antagonist William Carver. Now, the harrowing and heartbreaking journey through the zombie apocalypse is about to continue in a few days with the third episode, In Harm's Way.

The ending of The Walking Dead: Season Two‘s second episode certainly indicated that things were going south for Clementine and company, via the introduction of antagonist William Carver. Now, the harrowing and heartbreaking journey through the zombie apocalypse is about to continue in a few days with the third episode, In Harm’s Way.

The second season’s middle episode has just had its release dates confirmed by Telltale. PC, Mac, and North American PlayStation 3 users will see it available for download on Tuesday, May 13, while Xbox 360 and European PS3 owners will get it on May 1. The iOS version will finally drop on May 15.

As with previous episodes, a promotional trailer has been put together to give us an early idea of what to expect. And, from what we see, I’m getting the vibe that even by The Walking Dead‘s usual grim standards, this is going to be a very heavy experience. Previous instalments have briefly dabbled in the cruelty that survivors can inflict on one another, and some shots in this trailer indicate that we’re probably going to be getting that in spades. Clementine’s journey may be about to get tougher than ever, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store.

We will have a review for In Harm’s Way up shortly after it releases, and will keep you updated on The Walking Dead: Season Two as more news drops. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts on the new trailer in the comments section below.
