Originally released in May 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the critically acclaimed conclusion to the story of Geralt of Rivia. The title is well deserving of the Game of the Year moniker, as evidenced by our glowing review. The epic adventure, which holds a 93 rating on Metacritic, was on my list of the best games of 2015, as well.

While the set will be released under the Game of the Year edition in most markets, it will actually be released as The Witcher 3: Complete Edition in North America. As one would expect from that title, the re-release will come with the full game, as well as both of the well received expansion packs: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Additionally, 16 pieces of previously released DLC will also be included in the set.

If you haven’t already had the chance to play The Witcher 3, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. The game is an excellent adventure that both fans and non-fans of the franchise can enjoy. I still haven’t had the chance to dive into either of the expansion packs, but by all accounts they’re worth checking out.

At only $49.99, it would be crazy to pass up The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition when it releases later this month.
