Fresh off its characters making cameo appearances in Kingdom Hearts 3D, Square Enix is making its popular Nintendo DS title The World Ends With You available for a new audience via an enhanced remake for iOS, titled The World Ends With You: Solo Remix.
This new version, available for both the iPhone and the iPad, will feature all of the DS version’s 2D art redrawn in HD to take advantage of the platform’s higher resolutions.
A remastered version of the game’s popular soundtrack will also be included, along with several additional songs. New multiplayer and social networking features will also be incorporated, allowing for players to wirelessly exchange profiles and import their Twitter feeds into custom characters.
The World Ends With You: Solo Remix will be available tomorrow, August 27, on the North American App Store, costing $18 for the iPhone and $20 for the iPad.
