WWE 2K16 Enters The Hall Of Fame For Its Final DLC Release

WWE 2K16 may have just launched a few months ago, but 2K Games has already released the final scheduled DLC pack for the title. Following in the footsteps of the previously released Legends Pack and Future Stars Pack, the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase Pack is now available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Featuring superstars who were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year, the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase Pack includes a combination of classic and fantasy match-ups. The full line-up of matches, and superstars, include:

  • “Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts
  • Rikishi vs. The Rock
  • Alundra Blayze vs. Paige
  • Larry Zbyszko and Arn Anderson vs. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and Dustin Rhodes
  • Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair
  • The Bushwhackers (Butch Miller and Luke Williams) vs. The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon)
  • The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) vs. Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray)

I’m more of a classic wrestling fan, so both the Legends Pack and this pack have nostalgic appeal to me. While some of the wrestlers in this pack are retreads (Kevin Nash, Jake Roberts), the fact that I can now play as legends such as Tatsumi Fujinami or Larry Zbyszko in an official WWE game is incredible.

Like the previously released DLC packs, the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase Pack carries a cost of $9.99. For those that want the complete WWE 2K16 experience, though, you can purchase the Season Pass, which features comes with all three packs, and carries a cost of $24.99.
