As if Sunset Overdrive didn’t look like enough reason to consider picking up an Xbox One (sans Kinect, of course), then how does a sleek, shiny white console bundled with a copy of the game and no Kinect tickle your fancy? It’s been rumored that this specific bundle would be available, but it was officially confirmed today during Microsoft’s Gamescom conference.

Insomniac Games President and CEO Ted Price announced the bundle, shunning usual coworkers PlayStation and taking the Microsoft stage for the first time. The bundle, which became available for pre-order today and launches on October 28, includes the following content:

White console and controller – available to consumers for the first time
Full game download token for Sunset Overdrive
All Day One Edition downloadable content, including the Nothin’ but the Hits gun, a custom Fizzie outfit and the Hardcore! Hammer

As stated above, this bundle marks the first time the white edition of the Xbox One console will be available to customers, meaning you can finally match your old, dusty Xbox 360 with something a bit shinier. And although the inclusion of a digital version of the game is a bit of a downer, I guess it’s time to start moving with the trends and giving up those physical copies of lore.

The bundle is priced at $399.99, meaning it comes at the price of a regular Xbox One minus a Kinect. Considering what you get here, it’s definitely not a bad deal.

Tell us, is a different colored console and an admittedly awesome looking game enough to entice you to give in and move on to next-gen? Let us know in the comments section below and tune in for more news and announcements on Sunset Overdrive as they arise.
