Dangerous Assassin Zul’jin Joins The Fight In Heroes Of The Storm

Heroes of the Storm welcomes its latest roster addition today in the form of Zul'jin, the notorious troll warlord from Blizzard's own World of Warcraft. Billed as a ranged assassin, Zul'jin excels at aggressive lane control and, while able to hold his own in many situations, benefits greatly from support heroes that can buff or heal him. Like the existing roster, this green-skinned brute comes with his own unique trait - Berserker - which confers different benefits in its passive and active forms. The former increases Zul'jin's attack speed the lower his health goes, the latter bolsters damage at the cost of health. Players can switch between both modes at will, making for a great risk/reward archetype for those that want it.

“Before the elves and their Alliance, the forests of Lordaeron belonged to the trolls of the Amani empire,” explains Blizzard in its description of the warlord, adding, “as their warlord, Zul’jin has united the tribes into an army that stands ready to take back what is theirs and to slay the elves who stole it from them. Ever keen to hone his skill and sharpen his deadly axes, Zul’jin now joins us as the newest ranged assassin Hero to enter the Nexus.”

Blizzard’s certainly been busy this week. Special content updates have been rolled out for Diablo III  and Hearthstone to commemorate the former series’ 20th anniversary, it having today received a retro-inspired dungeon from the original game. A Diablo themed Tavern Brawl is currently ongoing in the latter and is due to end later this week.
