Nick Of Time

A controversial start to the list you might say, but Nick of Time is definitely significantly better than Mortdecai. This far-fetched thriller is notable for its real time narrative structure, but it also serves as a reminder that Depp could once perform the natural lead, as he does here against the psychotic Mr. Smith, portrayed by Christopher Walken. It’s a hard fact to believe nowadays, but it's one that we must be reminded of in a post-Pirates era.
