Sons Of Anarchy Alum Emilio Rivera Saddles Up For 3 From Hell

Former Sons of Anarchy stalwart Emilio Rivera has joined the ensemble cast of Rob Zombie's long-in-development sequel, 3 From Hell.

You’ve visited the House of 1000 Corpses and bore witness to The Devil’s Rejects; now it’s (almost) time to lay eyes on Rob Zombie’s latest creative effort, 3 From Hell. And it seems the long-rumored threequel has already hit the ground running.

Yes, after the carnival-centric 31 back in 2016, Zombie has returned to The Devil’s Rejects and its seedy universe, and it’s looking increasingly likely that the somewhat contentious filmmaker will be welcoming viewers on a trip into the fiery depths of the underworld in the not-so-distant future.

Be that as it may, production is about to enter its third week, and Rob Zombie (h/t Bloody Disgusting) brings word that former Sons of Anarchy actor Emilio Rivera has officially saddled up for 3 From Hell. Details of his mystery role weren’t disclosed at the time of writing – ditto for Jeff Daniel Phillips, who climbed aboard only four days ago – but this is still another big-name addition to the sequel’s remarkable ensemble, and Zombie’s status report was posted along the caption: “Another [day] of shooting 3 From Hell is done. Yes, Emilio Rivera has joined our cast. I wonder how he fits in?”

Elsewhere on the casting docket, Rob Zombie has called upon his usual pool of collaborators for 3 From Hell, including Austin Stoker (Assault on Precinct 13), The Howling and Cujo‘s Dee Wallace, Phillips, and Daniel Roebuck of Halloween fame, the latter of whom will be reprising his Devil’s Rejects role of Morris Green, Ruggsville’s number-one TV personality.

Filming continues apace on the set of Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell, so it shouldn’t be too much longer before we begin to see the fruits of his labor. Keep your peepers peeled.
