The pics here highlight a number of aspects of the movie. From Amazons going into battle on Themyscira (actually shot against a green screen in the studio) to a peak at how Ezra Miller’s armoured Flash suit was designed, everything is covered. They also appear to come from both the original shoot, with Zack Snyder at the helm, and the extensive reshoots (that apparently account for about 20% of the finished product).

There’s nothing hugely revealing here, but it’s obvious by looking at these pics how much fun everyone had making Justice League, with one of our favourites being the snap of Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller clowning around.

Another thing worth noting is the few glimpses at Henry Cavill’s Superman scattered throughout these photos. Warner Bros. has deliberately kept the Man of Steel out of the trailers and most of the marketing for the film, which means we haven’t previously seen how the hero would look once he’s resurrected. In a couple of these images, though, you can see that Cavill’s decked out in a much brighter version of his Superman suit, compared to the more washed-out outfit seen in Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. It’s not massively different, but the bolder blues and reds are definitely welcome.

Justice League hits theaters November 17th and so far, the critics have been laying into the film for its messy plot and editing. The fans, however, seem to be loving it for its increased sense of fun and great character dynamics. Not that this mixed reception will matter to WB all that much though, considering the movie is projected to make an incredible $355 million this weekend. Whether it’ll drop off after that remains to be seen, but if nothing else, it should be fascinating to watch how it performs over the coming weeks.
