5 Villains That We Want To See In Avengers: Infinity War

After an eternity of waiting, Avengers: Age of Ultron is finally about to hit heatres... so naturally, the fanboys are already looking ahead to what comes next. Robot love. Relations between a duck and a human. Brother and sister mutant incest. Marvel isn’t one to shy away from exploring bizarre pairings, but is there anything stranger than the romantic relationship Thanos holds with Death?

Marvel movie fans may already be aware that the Mad Titan’s ultimate goal is to collect the six infinity gems, objects of absolute power, but what you may not know is that Thanos’s plan is driven by love. Yes, the same feeling that parents hold for their children and causes people to buy crap on Valentine’s Day is also the reason why Thanos wants to kill every single living being in the universe. How else would you impress the living embodiment of Death itself?

If Marvel remain faithful to the comics, it’s likely that we’ll see Death soon as we learn more about Thanos’s background and his motivation in Avengers: Infinity War. How this ‘villain’ could be represented on the big screen is up for debate though, as Marvel have so far taken a deliberately grounded approach to fantastical characters such as the Asgardian gods. Perhaps the upcoming shenanigans of supernatural heroes like Dr Strange will clear this up in the coming years.

An added bonus of including Death in future Marvel movies is that she may end up bumping into Jane Foster and instantaneously melt her face off by accident. Finally, an interesting scene for her!
