Actress Shortlist For The Dark Knight Rises Has Been Revealed

The inevitable actress shortlist for The Dark Knight Rises has now been revealed. According to Deadline, director Christopher Nolan is looking for two leading ladies to fill the roles of Bruce Wayne’s love interest, and an unknown villain. The list of lucky women include Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and Keira Knightley.

It’s a pretty solid list, aside from Anne Hathaway who I think is a terrible actress. Anyone else on the list I’d be fine with if they were in the film. Personally I think Knightley would be a great villain, and Portman would get my vote for the love interest.

Again though, this is just a shortlist so who knows which actresses will end up securing the roles. These are just people that Nolan wants. It could turn out though that Nolan’s choices have scheduling conflicts and what not. Who knows, in the end the roles may go to actresses not listed here.

Nevertheless, let us know who you’d like to see in The Dark Knight Rises.
