Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival Will Bring Its Touring Sideshow To The US And Canada

Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival will be premiering in Hollywood at The Egyptian on August 11th, after which it'll kick off a traveling sideshow extravaganza through the US and Canada. Much like with his first film, Bousman and company are inviting all who dare to attend a screening of their sequel complete with twisted entertainment, meet-and-greet opportunities, and anything else your black heart desires.

Back in 2012, Hell came to town in Darren Lynn Bousman’s The Devil’s Carnival. Written by and starring Terrance Zdunich (Repo! The Genetic Opera), this old-school musical journey turned Hell into a three-ring circus, complete with a whole host of sideshow acts and carnie workers who belted out sinful songs of sorrow. Three souls entered looking for redemption, but what they found was more despair – and some catchy tunes!

It wasn’t long after that Bousman teased a return to his wacky carnival, and while it took some time to get things off the ground, we can now confirm his long-gestured sequel will be coming to a town near you! Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival will be premiering in Hollywood at The Egyptian on August 11th, after which it’ll kick off a traveling sideshow extravaganza through the US and Canada. Much like with his first film, Bousman and company are inviting all who dare to attend a screening of their sequel complete with twisted entertainment, meet-and-greet opportunities, and anything else your black heart desires.

While some performers won’t be returning for a second shift (most notably for me, Ivan Moody), the likes of Terrance Zdunich (Lucifer) Paul Sorvino (God), Emilie Autumn (The Painted Doll), Marc Senter (The Scorpion), Bill Moseley (The Magician), and many others are ready for another Satanic sing-along – but this time it’s not just an event from Hell. Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival brings Heaven into the mix, along with newcomers like Tech N9ne (The Librarian), Barry Bostwick (The Watchword), and most importantly, the legend pictured above: David Hasselhoff (The Designer). It’s a battle between Heaven and Hell, and all are welcome!

If you’re interested in attending one of the tour dates, I’d suggest buying tickets as early as possible (which you can do here). I waited a bit too long for The Devil’s Carnival when it first rolled through New York City, and was sadly left out in the cold, missing the full, far-out experience. Buy a ticket, get it punched, and hang on for what looks to be another wild, zany ride!

If you’re still on the fence, be sure to check out the trailer below for a taste of Bousman and Zdunich’s melodic mayhem, soon to be tainting a city near you. Praise the lord, it’s finally time for Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival!
