Artwork that resembles the Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man has appeared on a Russian Spider-Man site. This comes only a matter of days after Pez unveiled promotional art of the character from Marc Webb’s upcoming film.

This image does resemble the Pez image, which leads me to believe it is at least somewhat legitimate. Keep in mind though, the character may undergo various transformations, which would lead him to change his appearance multiple times. Who knows what stage of his evolution this picture represents or if it’s even being implemented into the film at all.

Either way, take a look and let us know what you think.

The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released July 3, 2012 and will star Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field.
