The upcoming horror film The Perfect House, which is set to premiere on Facebook on October 1, is embarking on a 20-city promotional American tour. The tour will begin in Austin, Texas and end in Buffalo, New York. It has booked its first sponsor, American Horrors, the new uncut horror channel that’s coming to FilmOn’s basic cable channel lineup. As part of the sponsorship, American Horrors will be covering every aspect of the film’s tour and VOD launch on the social networking site.

The Perfect House follows newlyweds Mike and Marisol, played by Will Robertson and Andrea Vahl, who are taken on a tour of their dream house by a perky real estate agent, portrayed by Monique Parent. The couple soon discovers, however, that the house has a foreboding past. The details of the house’s past are revealed in three original tales, which all chronicle the grim circumstances of the previous occupants. The anthology film was directed by Kris Hulbert and Randy Kent.

Hulbert and Kent are looking for additional local sponsors to help with the promotional tour. The filmmakers have created a sponsorship page, in an effort to not only promote The Perfect House, but to advertise the sponsors’ brands locally as well. Discussing the launch of the sponsorship page, Hulbert has said:

“Most businesses spend big money on advertising that only offers the potential for an increase in business without any real way to measure the success in dollars earned. We are looking to expand the earning potential and level of financial success coming from these advertising dollars by counting your sponsorship as an investment in the film itself, allowing you the opportunity to earn a profit while promoting your brand.”

Actor Jonathan Tiersten, who also appears in The Perfect House, will host a special screening at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin on August 28, during the opening night of the promotional tour. A list of cities on the tour, and tickets, which are free, are available on the film’s Facebook page.
