The Animals Arrive In New Clip From Noah, Plus Patti Smith’s Mercy Is Revealed And 30 New Photos

Nothing can prepare you for Darren Aronofsky's Noah. We saw the film a few weeks back and trust us when we say that this is not at all what you're expecting. That's not necessarily a bad thing though, as what the director has accomplished here is actually quite impressive, it's just very different than the version of the Biblical story that you're used to. We should have a full review for you this Friday but until then, here's some more marketing material to tide you over.

Nothing can prepare you for Darren Aronofsky’s Noah. We saw the film a few weeks back and trust us when we say that this is not at all what you’re expecting. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though, as what the director has accomplished here is actually quite impressive, it’s just very different than the version of the Biblical story that you’re used to. We should have a full review for you this Friday but until then, here’s some more marketing material to tide you over.

First up is a new clip. In it, we get a glimpse of the animals heading over to Noah’s ark right before the flood arrives. “It begins” says Russell Crowe, as Aronofsky shows us hundreds, if not thousands of animals, heading to the vessel that’s going to protect them from God’s wrath.

The next thing we have for you is “Mercy Is,” the track composed for the film by Patti Smith, Clint Mansell and Kronos Quartet. It’s a beautiful piece of music and for those of you eager to check out the score in Aronofsky’s latest, you’ll definitely appreciate it.

Finally, Paramount has released a batch of 30 new photos from the film, which can be seen in the gallery below. Surprisingly, they’re still holding back on quite a bit, but what’s shown here should get you excited as we get a handful of great looks at the cast as well as the flood itself.

Noah storms into theatres on March 28th. Check out the clip, photos and song below and let us know what you think.
