Looks like Adam Shankman is on a roll with the casting for Rock Of Ages. After bringing Tom Cruise on board earlier today, he now has his eye on Anne Hathaway. She would play a journalist who is doing a piece on Tom Cruise’s character, Stacee Jax. Shankman is currently in talks with her and it looks like she’ll probably sign on. The only obstacle seems to be scheduling conflicts with The Dark Knight Rises.
Seems like the project is coming together quite nicely. Mary J. Blige, Gwyneth Paltrow, Russell Brand, and Alec Baldwin are also circling the project, and with star power like Cruise and Hathaway, I could easily see them joining.
