Just when you thought you got your daily fix of Suicide Squad photos, Just Jared goes ahead and serves up what is arguably the best look at Ben Affleck’s Batsuit to date – well, Affleck’s stunt double, but it’s a good look nonetheless.

Showcasing The Caped Crusader latching on to Harley Quinn and The Joker’s supercar as it tears through the streets of Toronto, these images are slightly different from what we’ve seen before in that Margot Robbie’s unhinged femme fatale is riding shotgun. Of course, given that David Ayer’s superhero flick is very much in the early stages of production, the director could be experimenting with various takes of the same action sequence, particularly when you factor in those stills from last week that showcased Jared Leto’s street criminal pursuing Quinn in the same modified car.

How exactly Batman’s appearance in Suicide Squad ties into the overarching DC universe is something we likely won’t find out until next year at least, though our best bet would be on Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor connecting the strands between Ayer’s rendition of Task Force X and Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

There’s much more to the picture than that, of course, with Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Raymond Olubawale (King Shark) and model-cum-actress Cara Delevingne (The Enchantress) rounding out the star-studded, villainous cast.

Suicide Squad opens on August 5, 2016.
