Similar to how the release of Black Panther prompted cries for a Shuri spinoff, Marvel fans are beginning to wonder if we’ll ever see an MCU prequel featuring the original Ant-Man and the Wasp. Which is to say that Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne deserve a spinoff movie of their own.

Coming in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe marked a pretty radical change of pace for Michael Douglas as an actor, whose career spans everything from Wall Street to One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest. Ant-Man and the Wasp is still playing in U.S. theaters, and is expected to journey across the pond in time for August 3rd.
