Ant-Man And The Wasp Plot Their Next Move In Brand New Still

Proving there’s still life after Avengers: Infinity War, the eagle-eyed users of Reddit have today uncovered a brand new action shot from Ant-Man and the Wasp, which finds the titular duo plotting their next move.

The still is presumably pulled from the pages of Empire’s latest issue, which recently named Deadpool 2 as this month’s cover star. But the Merc’s second solo adventure isn’t the only blockbuster set to dominate the summer box office, as Marvel still has Ant-Man and the Wasp waiting in the wings.

It’s the studio’s third and final movie of 2018, and after the back-to-back success of both Black Panther and the aforementioned Infinity War, it’ll be fascinating to discover if the Scott Lang follow-up experiences a boon in box office receipts, given its opening under the shadow of what is essentially the biggest Marvel movie in the history of Marvel movies.

But let’s not get carried away; for now, let’s take a closer look at the titular duo of Ant-Man and the Wasp, who are once again played by Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, respectively.

Ant Man and the Wasp

Decked out in their super suits (spoilers: it seems the Wasp’s is much more advanced than that belonging to Ant-Man), this is a tantalizing peek at Marvel’s third 2018 tentpole, and it’s nigh on certain that our miniature heroes are plotting their next move as they close in on Janet Van Dyne, the long-lost MCU character to be played by Marvel newcomer Michelle Pfeiffer.

Expect Ant-Man and the Wasp to make a beeline for theaters on July 6th, at which point we may discover that Peyton Reed’s sequel has stronger ties to Captain Marvel (and Avengers 4!) than we’ve been led to believe
