Ant-Man Gets A Human-Sized Teaser Trailer

Yesterday, Marvel Studios pranked the internet by releasing a bite-sized teaser for Ant-Man, which served as more of an announcement for the real trailer than an actual glimpse at the upcoming superhero film. We still have to wait until the premiere of Agent Carter on January 6th to see the full-length Ant-Man trailer, but until then, we can satiate our appetites with a new, human-sized version of the teaser.

Like all teaser trailers for trailers, the new video doesn’t give us much to dissect. However, its 17 seconds are filled with our first glimpses at Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Corey Stoll in action, as well as a very brief look at the actual Ant-Man costume (or, its legs anyway).

Directed by Peyton Reed (Down with Love, Bring it On), Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17th, 2015. The film also stars John Slattery, Hayley Atwell, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, Abby Ryder Forston, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, Gregg Turkington, and T.I.

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man. Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
