You can go ahead and add Scarlet Witch’s name to the list of MCU characters appearing in Avengers 4.
Not only that, but it seems Joe and Anthony Russo (Winter Soldier, Infinity War) are in the process of putting the final touches to Wanda Maximoff’s arc, as Elizabeth Olsen has now wrapped filming on the untitled sequel. Word comes by way of Instagram, where the MCU fan-favorite shared one final set video of Scarlet Witch springing into action – or, more appropriately, being hauled out of action, given Olsen’s stunt double (?) is pulled through a window using some pretty sophisticated wirework.
And after nine months of on-set photos, not to mention all the candid, behind-the-scenes footage, the deluge of unofficial Avengers content is presumably on the wane. Filming is expected to continue well into January, but considering Elizabeth Olsen’s status report comes on the heels of Paul Bettany’s own Instagram (see below), one in which the Vision actor confirms that he’s ostensibly finished with Infinity War and its sequel, it’s safe to assume that the Marvel-related set photos will begin to dry up as Joe and Anthony Russo hunker down and prepare for a lengthy post-production.

Initially introduced to one another in Age of Ultron, Scarlet Witch and Vision have injected some semblance of romance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Paul Bettany’s towering android is one of the few characters who empathizes with Wanda’s inner demons.
Fast forward to Infinity War, and it appears the star-crossed duo are housed up in Edinburgh – in fact, Olsen’s latest Instagram appears to have been taken on the cobbled streets of the Scottish capital. Perhaps they’re staying out of the public eye? After all, Civil War thrust a wedge between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and we expect that that earth-shaking event has scarred many of the characters – physically, if not emotionally – which doesn’t exactly bode well for their upcoming fight against Thanos.
It’s one that will begin to unfurl on May 4th, 2018 thanks to the launch of Infinity War, before Avengers 4Â tends to unfinished business the following year.
