Regardless of whether you actually like Avengers: Age of Ultron or not, the film was always going to be Marvel's crowning achievement thus far, building upon the phenomenal success of the first Avengers film. Joss Whedon had a monumental task on his hands assembling the numerous components in Age of Ultron, but even his detractors have a lot of positive things to say about the movie. With so much happening at once though, it's easy to miss certain aspects of the film the first time round, making Age of Ultron one of the most re-watchable Marvel movies yet.

At this point, what more can we really say about Marvel's hugely-anticipated sequel? We've been inundated with marketing material over the last several months and it seems like almost the entire world is waiting with baited breath to see what the studio has cooked up here. Simply put, Avengers: Age of Ultron is a sequel to one of the biggest movies of all-time and a hugely important film for Marvel, the comic book movie genre and cinema as a whole. Whatever you do, don't miss this one.

No matter how great it may seem, some actors just don’t want to commit to an ongoing superhero role past their initial contract, despite the fame it brings… and the popularity… and the gazillions of dollars they make.

While it may seem that performers who drop out of these billion dollar franchises have suffered some kind of brain disorder, it also makes sense for the lineup of superhero teams to change over time, reflecting developments in the comics. Even Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have to retire eventually, so it came as no surprise at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron when Captain America was forced to assemble a new team after half of the founding members went AWOL.

Thor, Hulk and Iron Man are basically guaranteed to appear in future Avengers sequels, but it was still incredible to see the new team together for the first time in their entirety. Captain America and Black Widow are going to be kickass leaders for the team in phase three, but what about the newbies?

Scarlet Witch? Haunting. The Vision? Intriguing. War Machine? Could have potential. Falcon? Well, he can fly, so that’s really useful in case a threat rains down from – oh, wait. Basically, everyone can fly already. Thank god then for the Falcon’s military experience as – oh, wait. Captain America is the ultimate soldier. So what exactly can he do?
