Such is the aura of the MCU that even now, three months out, the Internet is teeming with stories and potential rumors relating to Endgame and its super-secret plot. Speaking of which, the latest tidbit comes to us by way of ComicBook.com, who appear to have uncovered a possible cast list for the Marvel Studios sequel.

Now, we know what you’re thinking: how on Earth is that news-worthy? Well, the inclusion of ’70s Car Girl #1′ (Monica Mathis) and ‘1970s Scientist / Lab Worker’ (Miles Webb) strongly suggests that Avengers: Endgame will be paying a visit to the 1970s at some point during its epic story. It is, however, worth keeping in mind that this listing was pulled from IMDb, which can be edited by anyone with an active account, much like Wikipedia.

Still, it’s fun to speculate. Barring Scott’s Quantum dreams in last year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, not to mention the Sorcerer Supreme’s final-act heroics during Doctor Strange, Marvel Studios is yet to experiment with full-blown time travel in the MCU, though it’s fair to say that Avengers: Endgame will soon change all that.

Besides, Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden are about to introduce a cosmic force of nature in Captain Marvel, whose power far exceeds that of Hulk and Thor Odinson. Will she be the one to unlock time travel via the Quantum Realm? Or does the answer lie with Scott Lang, who remains stranded in Marvel’s netherworld? Granted, Endgame‘s teaser trailer revealed the latter was alive and well, so at this point, there are really more questions than answers…

One thing’s for sure: Avengers: Endgame touches down on April 26th.
