The deleted scene in question involves a hero that should make fans happy, not mad. It has Mark Ruffalo’s Professor Hulk saving children from a burning building, and taking a phone call from Steve Rogers while doing so. Not bad, right? It even sounds kind of funny. But check out a screen grab from Twitter, showing a horribly unfinished CG Hulk:

That’s just…hideous. Granted, it was officially declared an “unfinished scene” beforehand, and it was just a post-credits treat. But wow! The fan reactions to it are, as usual, golden as well, and you can see just some of the backlash below.

One point fans have been making is that they deserved better for going back to see the film again, solely to catch a few extra scenes. The way Robert Downey, Jr. has been going on about how we need to watch Endgame once more and make it the number one movie in the galaxy, you’d think Marvel would have dropped a few Gs to finish the scene. But no, apparently not.

Obviously, the studio’s hoping this re-release and the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home on Tuesday will give Endgame the boost it needs. Word of mouth is a powerful thing when it comes to movies, after all, but the words we’re hearing from the mouths of fans are pretty terrible. Speaking of Spidey, though, the same is being said about the FFH teaser, with folks saying that it sucks just about as bad as the Hulk scene. Not cool, Mr. Feige, not cool.
