Disney Says Avengers: Endgame Has Hidden Clues For Marvel Phase 4 Films

There are plenty of standout moments packed into Avengers: Endgame. While many fans took issue with Captain America's ending, and others would have preferred if a few key characters had survived, allowing them to make an appearance in Phase 4, the latest MCU film is packed with scenes that are bound to satisfy some while frustrating others. But that’s not all that surprising, especially in a movie that had to juggle so many characters and plotlines.

While most viewers are excited to see where Marvel takes the franchise going forward, it looks like fans won’t have to look too far to unearth some clues. As reported by ComicBook.com, Disney CEO Bob Iger has revealed that Endgame is full of hints regarding the future of the MCU. Recently, at a Walt Disney Company quarterly investors meeting, Iger hinted that details about Phase 4 are just around the corner, indicating that they might come to light later in the summer. He also explained that their newest film features a “lot of clues.”

“If you watch, and I hope you did, Avengers: Endgame, there were a lot of clues in that film as to movies that may be coming,” Iger said.

Of course, there are some obvious clues that hint at the future of Phase 4 that many would’ve already caught. During the Battle of Earth, for instance, set outside the recently-destroyed Avengers facility, a handful of heroines appeared on screen to take on Thanos, hinting at a possible all-female MCU movie. There’s also the matter of the Guardians of the Galaxy, or rather, the Asgardians of the Galaxy, seeing as how Thor might be joining Star-Lord, Drax, Rocket and Groot on their interstellar journeys.

Still, one thing is abundantly clear from Iger’s comments, and that’s that Marvel fans are going to have to rewatch Avengers: Endgame a few more times now to see if there are any other clues that slipped by them previously.
