New Avengers: Endgame Photo Offers A Closer Look At Thanos And His Armor

At this point, most Marvel fans have seen their fill of Avengers: Endgame material in advance of the film’s long-awaited release. But if you’re still anxious for a little more content to tide you over until the big day, then you may appreciate this newly surfaced image, which shows the face of Thanos in impressive detail.

The Mad Titan will be looking his usual moody self in this week’s release, though he seems to be rocking the full body armor for a lot more of his screen time than he did in last year’s Avengers: Infinity War. His change of style has spawned a fair amount of speculation, too, since the whole reason he ditched his armor in the first place is that he felt the Infinity Gauntlet was all the protection he needed.

So, why is the purple tyrant dressing more cautiously in his next movie? Is the gauntlet damaged? Are the Infinity Stones lost? Are we actually looking at a Thanos from the past who doesn’t yet have the stones? Fans only have a couple more days to form their theories, though if you’re really looking for answers, you can probably find them online already. After all, Endgame has just completed its first full day in China, and if the box office figures are anything to go by, then there are a lot of filmgoers out there who now know the full story.

In any case, Avengers: Endgame is set to be the final entry in the so-called “Infinity Saga,” which almost certainly spells bad news for Thanos. Still, we’ll find out how many heroes he manages to take down with him when the film hits theaters on April 26th.
