A brand new Avengers: Endgame poster features Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, suggesting she'll be back in next month's release.

By this point, many of us have started taking it as fact that Valkyrie from Thor: Ragnarok will be returning next month in Avengers: Endgame, but in case you still need further convincing, actress Tessa Thompson just dropped a major hint via social media that she’s involved in the hugely anticipated sequel.

Along with many of her cast members, Thompson shared a new Endgame poster today and it features Valkyrie front and center. From Samuel L. Jackson to Brie Larson, Robert Downey Jr. to Mark Ruffalo, the social media feeds of almost every major MCU star has seen the release of a character poster today and below, you can see the aforementioned one from Tessa – which seemingly confirms her return – along with all the others.

Have a look:

After Ragnarok left its characters drifting through space with no apparent destination, the ship containing Valkyrie, Thor and the last of the Asgardians was quickly discovered by Thanos at the start of Infinity War. And though the film left the fate of several key figures unclear, co-director Joe Russo had already confirmed that Thompson’s character survived the attack, which means it’s not too surprising to learn that she’ll indeed be in Endgame.

That being said, it’s still great to get official confirmation that she’ll have a role in the Infinity War sequel and with any luck, maybe Valkyrie will even get to team-up with Captain Marvel. After all, it’s something that both the fans and the actresses who play the characters want to see happen and it’d certainly make for some exciting scenes.

But we digress. For now, it’s just nice to know that we’ll be seeing more of Thompson in action next month and we look forward to watching how she gets along with the rest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Endgame.
