Ever since Kevin Feige dropped the big news on us yesterday, Marvel fans have been reeling over the announcement that Avengers: Endgame will be getting a re-release next weekend that’ll beef up the movie’s runtime with a few must-see post-credits scenes. The studio has yet to start the publicity for this, but we do have a new poster to mark the arrival of the ever-so-slightly extended cut.

Cinemark’s website has already given us the first details about the re-release, confirming that it’ll feature a Stan Lee tribute, amongst other things, and insert several additional minutes. Now, the cinema chain has updated their site to include a poster we’ve never seen before but which appears to be official. It’s sure to get fans sobbing again, too, as it references Tony Stark’s tragic death in Endgame as well as one of its most touching phrases.

The simple poster depicts Iron Man’s version of the Infinity Gauntlet, with the phrase “We love you 3000” written underneath, presumably intended as a message of thanks from Marvel Studios to the MCU’s many fans. We can likely expect Marvel to drop an official version online as well once they start the big marketing push that will no doubt precede this re-release.

As great an idea as it is to treat the fans with some additional footage for supporting the film, it’s pretty clear that this is really just the studio’s last-ditch attempt to push Endgame‘s total gross past Avatar, thereby pinching its crown as the world’s most successful movie of all time. So, you can be sure they’ll be promoting it pretty heavily.

As for exactly what the post-credits scenes will be, well, it seems like a good bet that there could be some sort of Spider-Man: Far From Home tease, seeing as that’ll arrive in cinemas soon after the Avengers: Endgame re-release. Chalk that up as speculation for now though, as it could very well be something entirely different. Either way though, we’ll find out soon enough, as the extended cut will hit theaters next weekend.
