Unsurprisingly, Avengers: Endgame has been lighting the world on fire. It’s currently on track to bring in as much as $300 million on its opening weekend, and fans and critics alike have been praising directors Joe and Anthony Russo for closing out the Infinity Saga with a bang. Earlier this week, Endgame also received critical acclaim on Rotten Tomatoes and ended up being the highest-ranked Marvel Cinematic Universe movie of all time.
That is, until more reviews trickled in.
As reported by ComicBook.com, Avengers: Endgame has since lost its top spot on the Rotten Tomatoes leaderboard. As more reviews were added to the site, Endgame‘s “Certified Fresh” rating dropped down to 96 percent, which now places it right behind 2018’s Black Panther. At the time of writing, Endgame currently has 356 positive reviews and 14 negative ones. On the other hand, director Ryan Coogler’s MCU debut has 448 “fresh” reviews under its belt, with only 16 “rotten” ones weighing it down.
Of course, things could change down the line. Avengers: Endgame has only been out for a day, and there’s a good chance that more critics will weigh in with their own reviews as time goes by. The same can’t be said for Black Panther though, which has already been out for over a year.
On the other end of the spectrum, both The Incredible Hulk and Thor: The Dark World tied for the MCU’s lowest-rated film, with each sitting at 67 percent. Here’s the full list of every Phase 1, 2, and 3 movie, along with their Rotten Tomatoes rating:
