The previous record was shared by Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright and Tom Hiddleston, who managed a total of 18. And not only did Hemsworth beat that record; he even came close to naming the full set. In fact, the only entry he left out was Doctor Strange, which is a little ironic, seeing how he appears in the film’s post-credits scene. To be fair to his competitors, however, Hemsworth did get a fair amount of help, including a reminder that the Iron Man movies exist.

Speaking of trilogies, the God of Thunder got his third installment back in 2017 with Thor: Ragnarok, making him one of only three MCU heroes to have made it as far as three solo films. But while those other two veterans – Iron Man and Captain America – each finished their respective runs with last week’s Endgame, Thor is expected to return in Marvel’s Phase 4.

Specifically, the final minutes of Endgame suggest that we’ll be seeing more of Hemsworth in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which reportedly begins filming next year. As for the possibility of another solo flick, a fourth standalone outing is unprecedented for the MCU, but seeing how even Hemsworth admits to being underwhelmed by the first two Thors, perhaps they can make an exception for a hero who’s only just recently started living up to his potential.

For what it’s worth, Tessa Thompson recently hinted at plans for another Thor film, though the ending of Avengers: Endgame has left some fans speculating that Valkyrie herself might actually be the star of our next Asgardian adventure.
