Though it appears to be fan-made (or maybe not?), this promo presents a timely history lesson on the MCU and the many story strands that have hooked viewers for the past 10 years – be it Tony Stark’s very public revelation that he is, in fact, Iron Man or Spidey swinging into action in the midst of Captain America: Civil War.

As a matter of fact, if there’s one MCU movie that bears the closest resemblance to Infinity War, it’s Marvel’s Civil War. And not just because of Joe and Anthony Russo’s involvement – ditto for screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely – but due to the ways in which Avengers 3 brings its principal heroes together. And that’s something you’ll be able to see in full effect above.

Pretty neat, eh? It may not be official, but as far as trailers go, this one is definitely exciting – even despite the lack of new footage. Besides, we’re fairly confident that we’ll get to clock eyes on at least a few more promos before the lights go down on April 27th.

With so much content to choose from, too, budding fans have already taken it upon themselves to render all sorts of exciting teasers for Avengers 3, which has seen been described as a film of “infinite proportions.”

Avengers: Infinity War reaches theaters on April 27th, and while the excitement is electric – palpable, even – the Russo Brothers have asked fans to think twice about posting spoilers. Because after 10 years and 18 movies’ worth of exposition and city-leveling spectacle, why ruin the fun?
