Fan-Made Poster For Avengers: Infinity War Takes A Leaf Out Of Justice League’s Book

Earth's Mightiest Heroes are ready for their close-up in this new, fan-made poster for Avengers: Infinity War, which riffs on Justice League.

They were undoubtedly the two biggest comic book movies on SDCC’s jam-packed roll call, and thanks to Facebook page Thai Poster Fanmade, we now have an unexpected (albeit fan-made) crossover between Avengers: Infinity War and Justice League.

Yes, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are ready for their close-up in this new one-sheet, which riffs on the style and layout of Justice League‘s most recent poster reveal, which gathered together five of DC’s finest costumed crusaders with the caption, “you can’t save the world alone.” Rampant fans quickly proposed that it was actually Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel who took the group shot, given he’s set to be resurrected in time for the fight against Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds).

With Infinity War, it’s a little different in the sense that the film’s cosmic villain, one that’s already been compared to the great Darth Vader, goes by the name of Thanos (AKA The Mad Titan), who descends upon Earth in the search for those all-powerful Infinity Stones. To date, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced five of the celestial gems (Space, Mind, Reality, Power, and thanks to Doctor Strange, Time), leading fans to believe that the sixth and final Infinity Stone will be featured in Thor: Ragnarok later this year.

Indeed, the God of Thunder is just one of five Avengers to be featured in this striking new fan poster, which also offers a closer look at the bearded Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). Is the star-spangled hero about to leave his shield behind and assume the mantle of Nomad? We’ll find out on May 4th.

Until such a time as when we have firm answers for you, the latest fan-made poster for Avengers: Infinity War can be found in the gallery above. Justice League, on the other hand, will be with us on November 17th of this year, and it seems that both Zack and Deborah Snyder will be adopting a smaller advisory role within the DCEU from this point on, effectively opening up the field for Joss Whedon (Batgirl) and industry stalwart Geoff Johns.
